On behalf of the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) Board of Directors, the 2021 Program Committee, and its sponsoring organizations, we invite you to submit a paper proposal presenting your technical solutions, innovations, advancements, and knowledge at the world’s largest offshore energy conference and trade show. OTC 2021 will take place 3–6 May in Houston, Texas, USA after an unprecedented pause in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since its inception in 1969, OTC has provided a forum to present cutting-edge technologies and innovations, and as we navigate the changing energy landscape and the extraordinary events of 2020, we will rely on the technologies you present to secure a viable future for the offshore sector. To address these challenges, we encourage submissions which align with the following themes:

The OTC Program Committee recognizes the industry focus on topics related to remote operations, minimally-staffed facilities, and the enabling role of data management and digital solutions and welcomes those submissions.

Energy Transition
Our member societies are actively involved in the future of alternative and innovative energy sources. We continue to encourage submissions on marine renewables as we have successfully done and, likewise plan on doing going forward.

Cost Reduction and Safety Aspects are Focus Areas
We are looking to further the advancement of cost reduction, improving safety, and enhancing the overall economic results in our industry through technology, processes, and collaboration.

New Areas for Opportunity
We are looking to promote new opportunities in countries for the offshore sector while at the same time examining the hurdles to having meaningful progress in facilitating industry collaboration and mitigating the risk as the offshore industry enters these new areas.
